30+ different types of salts and sugars
Nope Curry Hill. Kalustyan’s is a spice, grain and salt emporium in the Empire State Building area of New York City. Filled with Indian, Pakistani, Punjabi, Kashmiri, and other similarly thrillingly creative cuisines, the place has become known as Curry Hill.
Kalustyan’s Curry Hill shop, near the Empire State Building, is a landmark for me whenever I visit NYC.It’s a must-visit for those seeking a one-stop culinary journey experience when they come to town.
Now, I’m no slacker. I love to hike up the east side to my Grace’s, my Eli’s, and those are very, very special journeys of their own. Particularly if you arrive during truffle season when they first arrive.
